Even The Moon Gets Lonely
Where are all the stars, it’s an empty sky tonight
Sending out the darkness on the wind
Nothing but the black, why are they hiding like that
Leaving just one light hanging by itself again
Even the moon gets lonely
No matter how bright it shines
It never gives up, never loses hope
That tomorrow it won’t be alone
Like me
Even the moon gets lonely
The night goes on and on, my heart tries to do the same
But some wounds you know they’re slow to heal
Trying to be strong, but there’s nothing to wish upon
Is the world really as dark as it feels?
Bridge:
Ooh, waiting on the sun in the eastern sky
Ooh, tomorrow night we’ll get one more try
