Goodbyes make the saddest sound

When your heart, it hits the ground

I wonder what you're doing now

Without me there to hold you down

I close my eyes and try to sleep

And fill the space between the sheets

Colors fade and I can't see

Nothing but your memory

I I I looked upon the ocean

I I I looked up at the sky

I I I drowned in your eyes

But I see it so clearly tonight

That I never knew the color blue

Till I lost you

Morning shows its face again

And I wake up to the pain

Never knowing who to blame

I'm feeling like it should rain
